How to Automatically Share WordPress Posts on Mastodon with SchedulePress?

SchedulePress allows you to automatically share WordPress posts on Mastodon social profile. Besides, with SchedulePress Instant Share options, you can share your WordPress post anytime you want on Mastodon.

Moreover, you can now share your posts on multiple Mastodon accounts simultaneously with SchedulePress Pro. This feature can be very useful if you want to enhance your social media presence and boost your brand’s exposure.

Note: Mastodon is available in both the Free and PRO versions of SchedulePress. The Free version lets you connect one profile per network, while SchedulePress PRO unlocks unlimited profiles.

Step 1: Create an Application from Your Mastodon Account #

Make sure you have an active profile on Mastodon. To let SchedulePress post on your behalf, you need to create an application.

Log in to your Mastodon account and navigate to ‘Preferences‘ → ‘Development.’ Then, click on the ‘New application‘ button, give it a recognizable name such as SchedulePress, and confirm.

Set these Scopes for your application while creating one as shown below: profile, write:lists, write:media, write: statuses
